OH. MY. GOSH. I'd go into the whole thing where I apologize for not posting in forever, but I figure that summer gives me a good enough excuse. It's been summertime....I had more important things to do. :D
Soo....what have I done this summer? Well I went to Creationfest '09! My third time there. Good times. :] It was different because I went with a friend's youth group instead of my own, but it was still fun. Although some bands I really had wanted to see were not there. :[ Switchfoot, sadly, being one of them. It just so happens the Bro-am was going on the same week so they couldn't be there. BUT never fear, I actually went to a concert in Lancaster right before Creation. I got to meet the guys and get a picture and signatures, and the show was great. :] It was the day before my birthday so my mom counted it as a Birthday present. We went on the way home from visiting my uncle in New Jersey.
Since then I've been enjoying my summer in leisure, hanging out with friends, and actually last week went to an amusement park with some friends, had a fantastic time on roller coasters. They forced me to go on, but I love them now, so I guess I should thank them. Hehe.
I'm sure there's a bunch of stuff I'm forgetting. OH YEAH. I had my 4-week summer dance session, which went quite well. I wish it was still 6 weeks though. But I had a great time with my friends. And I've been horseback riding all summer at a new barn, and I love it there. I've started jumping. :] Good stuff.
I also just started volunteering at the theraputic riding center I usually take lessons from. So I'll be up there on Thursday nights into November. Yay volunteering!
Welll that's all for now, considering I really must get a shower. So I'll write laterr.

Let the Wars Begin
Oh gosh. I'm not good with blogging on a regular basis. But whatever. Anyway, the play is over as of last weekend, so I now have a lot more time for the rest of my life, which is a great thing. It was fun, though. And the show went really well. Both nights. People I know who saw it said it was great. And I have lots of pictures. I mean a LOT. Haha.
So I missed dance last week because of play practice, but all's well. We started getting costumes. And I missed riding last week because of the play, I don't know if I have it this week yet, it being Good Friday and all. So we'll have to see.
Spring break started today, so I have a 5-day weekend, which is amazing. Today I've done nothing productive so far, for the rest of the weekend I aspire to write my research paper and finish my take-home test, but I'll have to wait and see about that. XD I at least want to do some of it.
I think I had something else to say, but I can't remember it now. My life has been so hectic lately, and I've been so stressed, and let me just say that stress does terrible things to me. But I'll live. Only a few more months of school and then it'll be better. A LOT better. Because summer is amazing and needs to be a lot longer than 3 months. Until then...

Gearing Up For a Social Accident
Hola! Guess what?! It was like 60 yesterday! Woohoo! It was really nice to ride and not freeze for a change. Hm. Why is it I always write on Saturdays...?
So I was just sitting here, mindlessly staring at my biology project when I decided it was time for a blog update. *shifty eyes* I actually did do some work on it, and I plan on finishing by Monday. So don't start. XD Play practices have been getting slightly more frequent, and definitely longer, with only about a month until the show. That's a bit frightening. Well, actually less than a month. So it's really frightening.
Anywho, I'm working on a new, possibly spring-like layout for the blog. I just have to come up with a banner first. I started making one last night but ended with some complications. I might just start over with something else. Nonetheless, there will be a new layout soon, much as I enjoy this one.
My sister's leaving soon to go do something with her friends, so I've got to give the dog a bath by myself. At least it's warm [although somehow I beleive I wouldn't have been told to do it anyway if it was cold...]. Not to mention the other chores I haven't done yet, but we won't worry about that right now.
Good news, I will be going to Creation again this summer. :] My youth group, unfortunately, isn't going this year, but I'll be going with my friend's youth group instead. Pretty psyched to get to go.
Anddd I probably should be getting back to my work.
I write soon.
Bye.

We've Got the Rest of Our Lives
Woa, talk about not posting in a while. Well. Maybe that's because life is pretty much the same. XD Still have dance, still riding, definitely still school.....I had been having musical practices two days a week, but they are now four. There are definitely a lot, especially later this month. It's pretty crazy.
Um. I've been sitting here for about 5 minutes thinking of something to say, and getting distracted by the TV. I guess I don't really have much to tell, unless you have an interest in hearing about my recent homework or something. *rolls eyes*
Last night at youth group there was a coffee house, not as many people as last time but it was still fun. Good food, good socialization, good music, and of course, good times. :]
Today mom and I went to the mall and Target and such. I got a watch, a purse, board shorts, a shirt, and flip flops. And these sock things that don't have toes, they like cut off in the middle of your foot. I have absolutely no idea what they are used for but they are amazing so I had to get them! =D Hahahaha. I'm so random. But yeah, that was my day. Should've been spent doing a biology project due in a week and a half, but whatevs. I'll do it later. Or at least, I'll keep telling myself I'll do it later. Lately I've been totally psyched about the upcoming Switchfoot CD, which, of course, accounts for a tour, which I will attend when it reaches my area. :] I'm still totally dedicated to my earlier FOTF plan, which makes me even more psyched.
But for now, I shall go and enjoy some relaxation. Yako.
Adios.

I'm Pretty Sure It Rained the Day I Died
Happy Superbowl Sundayyyyy. I, for one, greatly enjoy the superbowl. Psh, heck no, I don't follow football. I like the superbowl PARTY!! So, in about an hour we'll be leaving. Picking up two of my friends, a couple others may be coming. I'm pretty jazzed.
I didn't go to my lesson Friday, because I went to my friend's birthday party, and my mom went to dinner and the times didn't work out. So I'll go next week. But the party was fun. We went skating at the Y. Haha. I'm not gonna lie, I love skating. XD It's fun.
Also, today the weather is in the low forties. How's that for a change of pace? It's really nice, actually. Like, not being utterly and bitterly cold every time you walk outside. Just a chill. And SUN! I might go into shock soon, be aware.
And my veryvery good friend sent me the new Fiction Family cd. Ilikeit.
I'll write soon.

Fake Your Laughter
So, I haven't blogged in a while. And honestly, nothing that exciting has happened I guess....
I have two papers I'm writing this weekend, one of them I would like to get done by tonight. It won't be hard. I've already started. And yeah.
There was a coffee house at my youth group on Friday, it was really fun. There were like 54 people there who don't go to our church. It was awesome. A lot of my friends were there, and I met some new people. And there was good food. So everybody wins.
I also had a riding lesson. I rode Barnabas again, and it was good. Excluding the fact that my instructor is in the hospital, of course. She was training the new horse and got bucked off, broke some ribs and sprained her wrist, I believe. I was quite shocked about it. So a different lady did our lesson, it was still fun though, she was really nice. So whoever's reading this, if you could keep my instructor in your prayers, that would be great. =]
Also, I auditioned for a featured dancer in my school musical, Kiss Me Kate, and I made it, so we've been having practices Mondays and Thursdays. So far I've been having fun. =] We're performing in like 2 months I think.
So, I guess a few things here or there, but life has been fairly plain. Just pushing through every dreary day of this long, cold winter, with temperatures last week below 0 degrees. One morning I left the house and it was -12. How do you like that to stand in while waiting for the bus? HELLO!
So yeah. Lifelifelife. I'm very excited about next Sunday, which is, in fact, Superbowl Sunday. Namely, the superbowl XLIII PARTY, which will be held up at New Tribes at the TAB, and is always a really fun gathering. =] I'm not a follower of football, but there's a lot of awesome games, food, and socialization. So, like I said earlier, everybody wins. And I'm inviting some friends, so double yay!
But yeah. I'd better get back to my truckloads of homework. Hasta luego!

We're All Just Trying to Shake this Mess
Well, I had my first riding lesson in over a month last night. I was sooo happy. And I got to ride Barnabas. Double yay. I'm not sure what she's doing with Boaz, but apparently he's having some issues and they are working with him. Something about him locking up. This is from a conversation I overheard, so I don't really know what's going on. But I was happy to see Barnabas again.
Basically he was pretty much the same on the ground....still his cocky, annoying self. Lol. He seemed to remember me, considering he listened when I'd scold him for throwing his head at me like he always does..with everyone, I think. I don't really know, we may have lost a little bit. But I'm not worried. Something with us just clicks.
Anyway, he was wonderful to ride! I think it was mostly a relief from riding Boaz, who is still undergoing training. Barnabas was good for me. For about the thousandth time I wished he was my horse. Yeah. Like that'll happen. =p It was a good ride though. And his mouth was foaming the whole time, too.
Tonight we're having people over...and right now I'd better get some homework done. =p
I'll try to write tomorrow or something.

Let's Argue this Out
You know lately I've thought a lot about the word 'trust' and what it really means. I've come to think that trust is a word that shouldn't be taken lightly and should be used somewhat sparingly. To place your trust in someone is to say you would never ever doubt them and you know that they'll be truthful to you always. I think that's the really dangerous part - fully trusting someone. People are extremely far from perfect. They fall into sin and are persuaded by other people and the Devil. A misused word and emotion, definitely.
But to really be able to trust someone, well, that's something. In all my short life there's only one someone I've felt I could really trust, and that's God. Disagree if you will, but I can't say I've ever really not trusted God, and lately I feel like it's my only refuge in this fallen world. I don't know...in biology today we were getting our grades from the test before break that was really hard.....the average for the class was somewhere in the 80's, she said. I was so nervous..it might very well be my worst class because of the tests. I just felt like he tapped me on the shoulder and said, 'Hey, trust me with this.' And here I got a 98, with an average of 97. I can't even explain how relieved I was at that.
So make of it what you will, just a little tidbit. I'm beginning to realize that putting my faith in anything of the world is simply impractical, seeing as anything in the world is completely unstable. So I guess I'm just...figuring out life.
All along I thought
I was learning how to take
How to bend not how to break
How to live not how to cry
But really I've been
Learning how to die

I've Lost All that I Wanted to Lose
Greetings. I don't really know why, but I'm feeling sort of..tired today. Not my usual slightly hyper self. Hm. This typically happens the day after a sleepover, which we happen to have had last night. So there you go.
Anyway, 2009 has held...nothing to speak of so far. Just normal lazy days which are quite enjoyable for a majority of reasons. First, being lazy - that's just a wonderful thing in itself. Secondly - no homework, which basically results in....doing whatever I want. *grin* So I've been reading, watching TV, getting on the computer, eating...etc. Fun fun.
So right now a friend is over - she and my sister are making chocolate chip cookies. I just don't feel like it....so at the moment I snuck away to write a blog. It's been a lovely break, and I will absolutely hate to see it end Monday when I go back to school. Might as well get the most out of it while I can.
And thanks everyone who posted in the chat box, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. :]
Peace.
